Fleet Operations
Combine Freight Logistics operates 5 Man TGA 480 truck tractors and a Volvo FH12 460HP. These vehicles are coupled to two 55 tonne triaxle lowbeds (with a single axle dollies), two 40 tonne stepdecks with ramps, one 30 tonne stepdeck with ramps and a 45 tonne lowbed triaxle. The lowbed trailers have a well deck which is ideally suited for earthmoving equipment and abnormals with a height problem. They also have folding goosenecks to allow a drive on and off facility. The truck tractors are relatively new and are equipped with satellite tracking and hands free cell phones that are fitted to the vehicle. Our Combine Freight brokerage division has been operating for the past 20 years. Headed up by Rick Bull (who has over 30 years experience in the industry), the brokerage concentrates on providing traditional transport solutions for our clients. This division is responsible for taking the clients requirements and finding the best possible logistical solution for them. We deal with abnormal consignments, projects, over border consignments and national consignments.
